Description
Peachley Manor is a house that dates from the early 19th century and is an enlargement of a mid-18th century farmhouse. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof, featuring a brick chimney at the rear left. The building stands three storeys high and is distinguished by a stone eaves cornice and a parapet. There is a cellar beneath the front and to the rear right of the structure.
The façade consists of three bays, with all windows featuring stone sills and rusticated lintels that have projecting keyblocks. The outer bays contain 16-pane sash windows on the ground and first floors, while the upper floor has 8-pane sashes. The central bay has a 12-pane sash on the first floor and a 6-pane sash on the second floor. The central entrance is framed by a doorcase with a cornice supported by Doric columns, and the door itself has raised and fielded panels topped with a barred, segmental fanlight.
Inside, there is an early 19th-century staircase, vertically sliding shutters on the front windows, and a tunnel vaulted cellar.
