Description
Parkfield Nurseries is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a shallow pitched, hipped slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. All windows have gauged flat heads, and the lower windows are adorned with moulded architraves and glazing bar sashes. The central doorway is framed by a moulded, flat canopy supported by two Doric columns, and it has a part-glazed, panelled door. The interior has not been inspected. There are late 19th century extensions at the rear. The house and its vegetable gardens were formerly part of the Parkfield estate.
