Description

Park Farmhouse is an early 18th-century brick farmhouse located in Hallow. The building has a hipped, tiled roof and two large external brick stacks to the left, with a further ridge stack at the right end. It has two storeys, a cellar, and an attic with dormers, and features a dentilled eaves cornice. The farmhouse originally had five bays, and all windows retain cambered brick arches, constructed with orange and blue bricks, with a blue diaper pattern above the central first-floor window. All windows are cross casements, and there are two gabled dormers with casements. The blocked central doorway has a pilaster surround and flat canopy, and once contained a wide panelled door and a rectangular transom light with a central glazing bar. The interior retains stop-chamfered main beams. A rear entrance provides access to the main house. Outshuts are visible on the left side elevation, incorporating chimney stacks, and a single-storey outshut is attached to the side.
