Description
This is a cart shed located about 15 metres south-east of Chapelgreen Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century with some repairs from the mid-20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a half-hipped tile roof. It has three bays that run north to south, with an outshut on the west side. The north gable end is open, while the west wall includes a dentilled brick cornice and four brick piers with matching brick infill. The roof has principal rafters that are cut off above the collar, supported by two slender raking struts. This cart shed is noted for being a complete example of its type.
