Description
Nos 349 and 351 on Alcester Road are two houses that have been combined into one residence. They were built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The structure is made of brick and has a tile roof, standing two storeys high on a cellar.
The main section on the left features four windows arranged as two pairs: the left pair consists of 2-light casements, while the right pair has horizontally sliding sashes. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a glazing bar sash, a 16-pane sash, another glazing bar sash, and a final 16-pane sash. Each pair of windows has an entrance between them, which is framed by wooden architraves and features 19th-century doors with pointed heads above narrow panels. The door to the left has a segmental head.
At the right end of the building is a former school room that is one storey high, with two windows that have Tudor arch heads and Gothick glazing. There is also a lean-to porch added in the 20th century at the angle between the school room and the main block.
