Description

Fulford Hall is a house dating from 1887 to 1890, situated within its own grounds. It was designed with a deliberate Tudor style, constructed from red brick with stone dressings, and featuring a tiled roof with lower, projecting gables at each end of the front elevation. The house is two storeys high with attics. The windows are lattice casements with stone mullions, some incorporating transoms and dripmoulds. A closed-gabled porch is located to the right of the centre line; it features two pairs of Doric pilasters, an entablature, and a pediment containing strapwork surrounding a rectangular panel within the tympanum. The porch provides access through an elliptical arched doorway, leading to a two-fold ribbed door. A large multi-light window to the right of the porch has six segmentally arched lights.
