Description
The Old School House is a building that was originally constructed in 1840 as a school and later served as a parish hall. It has undergone some remodelling in the 19th century and repairs in the late 20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a low-pitched slate roof.
The north front, which faces the churchyard, is a single storey with three bays. The central bay is slightly advanced and has three windows above two windows, all featuring two-centred heads and Gothick glazing. Each of the outer bays has two similar windows. The building also includes the schoolmaster's house and entrances located at the rear.
The main front of the Old School House looks out across the churchyard towards the Church of St Mary.
