Description
Blackgreves Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1827, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of roughcast brick and features a tile roof. The front range has gable-end stacks and wings at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has a dentilled cornice. A central projecting porch is gabled and includes a two-light casement window under a segmental head. On the ground floor, there is a three-light casement window, flanked by two additional three-light casements, with the entrance located on the left wall of the porch. A datestone on the porch displays the arms of the Greves family. The farmhouse is situated within a double moat, with the inner moat still retaining water.
