Description

This cart shed, located approximately 60 metres east of Thelsford Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century and has early 19th-century alterations. It is built of brick and features a half-hipped tile roof. The structure consists of six bays and has an open front supported by re-used timber posts. The roof is supported by queen-strut trusses with truncated principals, which incorporate older tie beams and purlins. The interior has not been inspected. This cart shed is included as part of an early 19th-century farmyard group.
