Description

Thelsford Bridge is a small sandstone ashlar bridge dating from the 18th century, located over Thelsford Brook on Barford Road (or Wellesbourne Road). It features a single span round arch with a keyblock, a stringcourse, and a parapet with half-round coping. The bridge was widened on the south side in the 19th or 20th century, incorporating much of the original sandstone facing. Part of the bridge is situated in the parish of Charlecote within the Stratford-on-Avon District.
