Description
Aldford Bridge, which carries Chester Road over Aldford Brook, is a bridge likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone and features three deep segmental arches. The arches have projecting bands around the voussoirs and at road level. Between the arches and at the inner ends of the abutments, there are plain rectangular pilasters. The parapets have flush copings with cambered tops.
