Description
The churchyard wall and gates at the Church of St John the Baptist were built around 1866. They are made of red sandstone and oak. The wall features squared snecked rubble with a moulded flush coping and square monolithic gateposts that are chamfered and gabled. Each of the pair of gates leading to Church Lane consists of six panels with stop-chamfered posts and rails; the lower panels are braced and include plain iron dogbars. There are stone steps leading into the churchyard located in the western part of the wall.
