Description

No 2 Ampton Road is a detached stucco villa built around 1830-1840, similar in design to No 1. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with a plinth and a ground floor that is channelled up to the first floor sill band. It has a hipped slate roof with flat eaves and flanking stucco chimneys. The windows are revealed glazing bar sashes with aprons beneath the ground floor sills. There is a Tuscan square pier porch at the entrance. A recessed one bay service wing is located on the south side, screened by a link wall that connects to the coach house.
