Description

This is a pair of houses, 5 and 7 Anchorage Road, designed by architect Charles Bateman and built in 1903-1904. The houses are constructed with a pebbledash finish and a tiled roof, with a gable on the left-hand side and two hipped dormers in the attic. The upper floor has flush lattice casement windows. The ground floor is of red brick and features a pair of stone mullioned casement bay windows. The entrances are chamfered and segmentally arched, with the entrance to number 5 facing the front of the road and the entrance to number 7 located on the side.
