Description

This early 20th century School of Art is part of the Sutton Coldfield College of Further Education. It was designed in a Georgian style. The building is constructed of red brick with stone dressing. It has a tall, hipped tiled roof with a modillioned cornice. The design is of one storey, featuring six sash windows with glazing bars, each set under a flat arch with a keystone, and contained within shallow round arched panels. A central projection has a segmental pediment and a pedimented door surround with a stone panel. An octagonal cupola sits atop the roof ridge.
