Description

Nos 48 and 50 on High Street are 17th century buildings that were altered in the early 19th century and later. They are two storeys tall, with No 48 featuring a gabled cross wing. The first floor of No 48 has a red brick sash window with glazing bars above a late 19th century shop front. No 50 has a small canted bay shop window with an entablature that extends over the doorway, and a flush casement window on the first floor. Nos 42 to 52 (even) and No 56 form a group.
