Description
22 Anchorage Road is a building dating from around 1903, designed as a pair with No. 24, likely by the same architect. It is built in an Arts and Crafts style and features a mix of two and three storeys, with a width of three bays. The roof is roughcast slate. There are three steps leading up to the door, which is topped by a tile-hung oriel that has windows extending outwards by one light on either side. To the right of this, there is a four-light window on the ground floor and a three-light window on the first floor. Above, in the gable, is another four-light window. To the right, there is a single bay that includes a four-light window at ground floor level, positioned beneath the eaves, and a four-light dormer in the roof. All windows are casements with leaded lights. Additionally, there is a lower garage to the right. Nos. 22 and 24 together form a group.
