Formerly known as: House adjoining No.32 (Atton Place) EASTGATE. House, now 2 houses. Mid C18. Coursed rubble, whitewashed, with stucco dressings and plain tile roof with single ridge stack and 2 gable stacks, one of them external. Rendered plinth. 2 storeys, 5 bays. No.24 has a flat roofed addition, 2 storeys, with a segment headed triple sash, flanked to left by a door and 2 glazing bar sashes. Above the door, a square projection flanked to right by 2 segment headed glazing bar sashes, and to left by a canted bay window. To its left, a glazing bar sash. Above again, 5 windows of various types. No.24A has a lean-to addition flanked to right by a glazing bar sash and a door. Above, a segment headed dormer. North side, to Eastgate, has an off-centre blocked doorway with keystone lintel and fanlight, flanked by single sashes. Above, 4 similar sashes. All the sashes have glazing bars and keystone lintels. To right, a lower addition, 2 storeys, single bay, with parapet. INTERIOR not inspected.
