Description

Nos 52 and 54 Harborne Road are a pair of semi-detached villas built between 1840 and 1850. They are two storeys high and each house has three bays. The ground floor features a central round-arched door recess flanked by inset fluted Tuscan columns that support an entablature and a fanlight with patterned glazing. No 52 has revealed glazing bar sash windows, while No 54 has canted bay windows that were added around 1870. The first floor of both houses has three sash windows set on a sill band, all with glazing bars. No 52 includes a side entrance that connects to a screen wall leading to a coach house, while No 54 has a modern coach house.
