Description

Dating from the 1830s and 1840s, 91 and 93 Harborne Road are a pair of semi-detached houses. They are constructed of stucco with a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high, each with a symmetrical facade of two bays plus a recessed wing. The ground floor features two canted bay windows and two sash windows, all within moulded, eared surrounds. The first floor has four sash windows similarly framed, and sits above a stringcourse. Brackets support the eaves. The recessed wing of No. 91 incorporates a two-bay arched porch recessed into the wing, with windows matching those on the main facade. The recessed wing of No. 93 has an arched open porch in the angle, a secondary entrance with a decorative cornice on brackets, and a coach house with a segmental arch.
