Description
107 Harborne Road is a building dating from around 1830 to 1840, which has been altered over time. It is constructed of stucco and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and was originally designed with three bays, but two outer recessed bays were added between 1835 and 1860. The central bay slightly projects and features a door set within a recess, framed by pilasters and a porch supported by Doric columns. The original ground floor windows have moulded frames with ears and feet, along with a bulgy frieze and cornice. The first floor windows are plain sashes that sit on a moulded stringcourse. The building has a deep plain eaves frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The later added bays include tripartite windows on both floors, with the ground floor windows featuring cornices on brackets.
