Description

These are a pair of identical houses dating from around 1830, located on Harborne Road. They were constructed using stucco and have slate roofs. Each house is three bays wide and two storeys high. The ground floor has banded rustication, with a central entrance featuring panelled reveals and Doric columns supporting a deep entablature adorned with three wreaths. Between 1850 and 1860, a canted bay window was added to the ground floor of each house. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars, resting on a moulded string course. An eaves entablature completes the exterior. Recessed and altered coach houses are also present.
