Description

This is an early to mid-19th century house, dating from approximately 1840 to 1850. It was originally built as one of a pair with number 48, Harborne Road. The house is constructed of red brick with a stucco plinth. The roof is slate, hipped in style, with flat eaves and corniced chimneys. The ground floor has a central doorway framed with decorative incised pilasters in the style of Robert Adam. There are three windows across the ground floor, and four windows on the first floor. All windows are glazing bar sashes, with stucco sills and cornices supported by console brackets.
