Description

No. 11 Highfield Road is a two-storey Grecian villa built around 1830. Originally a detached building, it now has a modern link to No. 12. The villa features a three-bay front with an asymmetrical entrance. It has a plinth and a first-floor sill course, topped by a hipped slate roof with flat eaves. The ground floor has round-headed windows, while the first-floor windows are surrounded by architraves and do not have glazing bars. The entrance door is framed by engaged Greek Doric columns and a heavy entablature adorned with three wreaths in the frieze. To the north, there is a slightly recessed former coach house wing, also two storeys tall.
