Description

A range of two 18th-century cottages, Mill Cottage and 55 Mill Street, stand where numbers 47, 49, and 53 are absent. The cottages are built of colourwashed brick with a brick corbel at the eaves and camberheaded openings to the lower storey. Number 55 retains its original casement windows and features two dormers with leaded lights. Mill Cottage has modern wood casement windows with diamond-shaped leaded lights, along with three restored gabled dormers. The roofs are covered in old tiles. The listed buildings on both sides of Mill Street form a group of group value.
