Description

The remains of Old Castle Bridge are a late medieval stone bridge made of ashlar, located over the River Avon near a weir. The structure includes three complete arches in the center of the river, along with one arch on the north bank and another on the south bank. The arches feature simple chamfered moulding and have splayed piers with cutwaters both upstream and downstream.
