Description

The Mill House, located at 52 Bridge End, is an early to mid 18th century house that stands two stories plus an attic. It features three windows and is constructed of red brick with stone quoins and a string band at the first-floor level. The windows are fitted with transomed and mullioned wood frames and casements that include leaded lights. The entrance has a six-panel door set in plain reveals, and there is a temporary lattice porch that is considered to have no value. The lower storey openings are adorned with stone keyblocks. The gabled dormers have incongruous barge boards, and there are 19th-century chimney stacks. The roof is partly covered with old tiles.
