Barn Cottage is a two-story property dating to the 17th century, restored in 1781. The building is timber-framed, utilizing old materials, with red brick infilling between the timbers. It has modern casement windows with leaded lights and a well-weathered tile roof with two gables. It forms a group with Nos. 78 to 90 (even).
