Description

This is a group of 18th-century cottages located on the north-west side of West Street. The cottages are two storeys high and built of colour-washed brick, set on a projecting plinth. A string course runs along the first-floor level. The roofs are covered with old tiles. Numbers 70 and 71 each have two two-light casement windows on the first floor and two small sash windows on the ground floor, with modern central doors. Numbers 72 and 73 each feature one two-light casement window on each floor, and a modern half-glazed door. Formerly, numbers 72 and 73 had four-panelled doors. Numbers 66 and 73 are considered a group.
