Description
This is an 18th-century range of cottages situated on the north side of New Street. The building is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, featuring gabled ends and brick dentil eaves. It is two storeys tall with an attic. The front facade has four windows. Most windows are 2-light wooden casements with mullions and transoms, although some have been replaced with 19th-century sash windows. Number 33 has a 19th-century canted bay window on the ground floor. The building has three doors, each with a cambered head and a curved hood supported by brackets. Four gabled dormers light the attic space. Numbers 27 to 57 (odd) are considered a group.
