Description

The stables immediately west of Number 19 date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. This small stable building is positioned at right angles to the road and is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof featuring gabled ends. The building has brick dentil eaves and stands two storeys high. The end facing the road includes a loft door with a segmental head, and below it is a modern garage door. This structure is included for its group value with Nos 7 to 15 (odd), Lanark House, The Steppes, and No 19.
