Description

Lanark House is a mid-18th century building. It is stuccoed and has a new tile hipped roof with brick dentil eaves. The building is three storeys high and has two windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, although the glazing bars are missing from the ground floor windows. A large canted bay with a cornice is on the ground floor. A modern glazed central door is topped by a hood carried over on brackets. Bands are present at the first and second floor levels. Lanark House forms a group with numbers 7 to 15 (odd), The Steppes, and the stables located west of number 19.
