Description

No 12 on New Street is an early 19th-century building with a stuccoed front that is part of an earlier structure. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows that are slightly advanced at the center. The original sash windows have been replaced with two-light casements. There is a projecting Victorian shop front that includes a moulded cornice and fascia above. The building has a slate roof with gable ends. No 12 is part of a group that includes the Old Talbot Inn, Vine House, Nos 18 to 24 (even), a barn at the rear of No 24, No 26, Glenmoir, Linden House, and Alviston House.
