No 1 Parade Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a stucco exterior and a slate roof with gable ends. It stands three storeys tall and has two widely spaced windows, which are sash windows with vertical glazing bars and exposed casing. The building includes a 19th-century double fronted shop with a flat cornice.
