Description

Number 8 Parade Street dates from the 18th century. It is a colour-washed brick building, distinguished by its long and short quoins. A three-window, pedimented centre section projects forward. The roof is half-hipped and covered in slate, with a Modillion eaves cornice. The building has two storeys and five windows, each with keyblocks and sash windows containing glazing bars. The doorway features two Doric columns supporting an open pediment, above which is a semi-circular fanlight with Gothic glazing bars.
