Description

Vine House is a 17th-century building with an 18th-century brick facade, which is painted. It has a gable-ended roof covered in new interlocking tiles. The building is two storeys high with three windows, containing sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance has a rectangular fanlight and a hood supported by shaped brackets. A band runs horizontally between the two floors. A timber-framed barn from the 17th century is attached to the west side. The building forms a group with No. 12, Old Talbot Inn, Nos 18 to 24 (even), the barn at the rear of No. 24, No. 26, Glenmoir, Linden House, and Alviston House.
