Description

This barn, located 33 yards south-west of Bericote Farmhouse, dates from 1809. It is a long structure made of red brick, topped with a steeply pitched plain tile roof that has gabled ends. On the south side, there are two pairs of cart doors, each featuring ventilation holes arranged in a diamond pattern. The north side has two mid-streys with hipped roofs and additional cart doors. A date stone in the apex of the east gable reads "T.E.1809." Inside, the barn has tie beam trusses supported by queen posts and angle struts.
