Description

Avon Cottage is a small timber-framed cottage dating from the 17th century, featuring brick infill panels. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and is set on sandstone foundations. There is a later outshut added to the north elevation. The cottage has small casement windows with glazing bars and plank doors, along with a single brick chimney stack at the ridge.
