Description
Grove Farmhouse is a red brick house dating from the late 18th century. It features a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick modillion eaves cornice. The building stands on a sandstone plinth and has a string band at the first floor level. It is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. There are three steps leading up to a central half-glazed door, which is topped by a rectangular fanlight and sheltered by a timber porch. On either side of the door, there are three-light casement windows with glazing bars, set under segmental brick arches. The first floor has three segmental-headed windows: two are three-light and the central one is two-light, all featuring glazing bars. A brick ridge chimney stack is located at one gable end.
