Description

Roseland is a red brick cottage dating from around the 18th century, featuring a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The building has one storey and an attic, and it stands on sandstone foundations. There are two steps leading up to a plank door, with two three-light casement windows, each with glazing bars, on either side of the door, all set under segmental brick arches. At the eaves level, there are two gabled dormers, each containing two-light casement windows with glazing bars. The cottage is topped with a single brick chimney stack.
