Description

This is a former 18th-century barn, located on Station Road in Ripple. The barn is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof and coped gables. It features dentilled brick eaves, two cart doors with plain brick lintels and some stone blocks in the sides. The walls are pierced with rows of chequered ventilation holes and vertical slits. Originally five bays, an additional bay was constructed at the east end. The interior contains a collar-and-tie-beam truss with angle struts.
