Description

The Village Cross in Ripple is a medieval stone structure. It features two steps leading up to a square base that is rebated to an octagonal shape. The tall shaft starts square at the base and transitions to an octagonal form. At the top, there is a broken ogee and a stone finial. This cross is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
