Description
Blackwell Grange is an 18th-century barn located approximately 25 meters west of the house. It is constructed of squared, coursed limestone with ashlar quoins, and features some 19th-century brick on the right and left gable ends. The barn has a thatched roof with a stone-coped gable on the left side. It consists of four bays, with large double plank doors situated to the center right. To the left of the doors, there is a brick lean-to that extends to the end of the building, which includes plank doors and weatherboarding. Inside, the barn has a queen strut roof with collars and original purlins that are supported by windbraces. This barn is included for its group value.
