Description
Burmington Manor barn, built in the 18th century, is located approximately 30 meters west of the main house. The barn is constructed from squared, coursed limestone and features a 20th-century tiled roof. It has four bays and a large central opening with a segmental arch. On the far right, there is an 18th-century plank door with an original strap hinge and a wooden lintel. The barn also includes three ventilation slits and large double plank doors at the rear, which correspond to the front opening and have additional ventilation slits. Inside, there is a stone flagged threshing floor, a queen strut roof with collars and original through-purlins, and a brick partition wall. The barn is included for its group value with the manor.
