Formerly known as: The Pink Cottage STRATFORD ROAD. Cottage. Probably C17 with extension to left c1960-80, joined by C19 outshut. Probably mud and cob, colourwashed, with timber-framing to gable end and thatched roof with brick stack, brick outshut with Welsh slate roof to rear. EXTERIOR: cottage of single storey with attic, single cell. Entrance to extension, double glazed doors. Cottage has 2 windows with lead cames. Left external stack. Casement window to right gable end. INTERIOR: chamfered beam, exposed rafters. Inglenook fireplace with bressumer beam and bread oven. First floor has one tier of purlins and exposed rafters with wind braces.
