Description

This is an 18th-century house, raised in the 19th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed lias and limestone with quoins. The second floor is rendered, and the gables have brick coping. The roof is slate, with brick end stacks. The house is three storeys high and has a two-window front. It has a two-unit plan. A part-glazed, four-panelled door, with a moulded wooden surround and a hood on consoles, is centrally positioned. To the left and right of the door are early 19th-century canted bays; the bay to the left has a 16-pane sash window. On the first floor are 12-pane sashes to the left and right, with a blocked opening and a painted sash in the centre. The second floor has small 6-pane sashes to the left and right, with a blocked opening and a painted sash centrally. All openings have brick surrounds. The interior was not inspected. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
