Description

Nos. 7 and 11 on West Street are two cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick in Flemish bond, featuring a dentilled brick eaves cornice and a tile roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages are two stories high and have a four-window range with a two-unit plan. On the left and right sides, there are 20th-century panelled doors, with the right door having a brick flat arch above it. In the center, there is a 19th-century plank and part-glazed door with an overlight and a brick flat arch. The ground floor has three openings with 12-pane sash windows, and there are additional 12-pane sashes in the four first-floor openings. The interiors have not been inspected. These cottages are included for their group value.
