Description
The Horseshoe Inn is an inn that likely dates back to the 16th century. The ground floor is constructed from squared, coursed limestone, while the front is rendered. The first floor features timber studding with diagonal braces that create a zig-zag pattern. The building has a slate roof with brick end stacks and stands two storeys high with a four-window range. On the left side, there is a carriage archway. In the center right, a six-panelled, part-glazed door is framed by a 19th-century pilaster surround topped with a hood on consoles. To the right, there is a canted bay window. In the center, there are two large four-light casements. The first floor has four 19th-century casements with two and three lights. Beams are visible under the archway. The interior has not been inspected.
