Description

This chest tomb, dating from around 1768, is located approximately 19 meters west of the tower of the Church of St Michael and All Angels in Claverdon. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and measures approximately 1.5 meters long, 1 meter high, and 1 meter wide. The tomb features a chamfered plinth and has two fielded inscription panels on each long side, although these panels are now badly eroded. This tomb is part of a group of listed items in the churchyard that includes the Church of St Michael and All Angels.
