Description
Park Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with later additions and alterations, including a 19th-century barn to the right and a rear wing to the left. The building features small, square panels of timber-framing with 19th-century brick nogging, a plain-tile roof, and brick stacks. It has a three-unit plan that extends to a U-plan due to the addition of the 19th-century rear wing in brick.
The exterior consists of a front range that is a single storey plus an attic, with a two-window range and a single-storey attached range to the right. The elevation facing the road has a plank door in the attached building to the right, which is set under a chamfered, elliptical arch. To the left, there are three windows that have been renewed as two- and three-light casements with lead cames. The gabled roof features two half-dormers with casement windows, bargeboards, and finials. The main entrance is located at the left return and includes a part-glazed plank door within a gabled porch that has barley-twist balusters. The interior has not been inspected.
